Quick Marathon Update, Run Like a Mother Book Winner & Last Week's Roundup

Marathon Update
Thanks to your prayers, positive thoughts and well wishes...I finished my second mary yesterday at the Surf City USA Marathon! Perfect race weather, the best volunteers ever, and awesome oceanfront course. But...I felt more tired (and sore!) this time around. I finished at 5:17. Just a 2 minute PR from my first marathon last December. Still a PR, at least. And thankful that I ...was injury-free! Thank you, Lord (Philippians 4:13!)! Now time to rest for a month so I can move on to ... "other things". :p

    Great job on the PR! It was a gorgeous day yesterday. So, what was wrong with how you were wearing the compression socks? I've never worn them before... you got me all confused :|
