2010 Goals: The Assessment

Just a quick assessment of last years goals.  I posted my 2010 goals last January 5.  Let's see how I fared...

My 2010 Goals
   1.  Stay injury free - not completely but I had knee problems for about 3 weeks only.
2.  Listen to my body
3.  Injury-proof my whole body
4.  Join SWAC (Sheerwill Aquathlon Cup)
5.  Introduce more people to running
6.  Run more with friends
7.  Continue to eat better
   8.  Reach my ideal weight
9.  Run more so I don't have to worry about what I eat
10.  Run 1,000 Kilometers by August

Goals I accomplished which were not on the list..
1.  Complete another aquathlon
2.  Complete my first full marathon - woot!
3.  Join an international race event

Not bad, ey?  Very happy and thankful that I was able to accomplish almost all and managed to do a little more.  Geez, I never thought I'd finish a marathon last year!  And here I am already signed up and training for the second one in February!  *sigh*..God is good!

I haven't really thought of my 2011 goals yet so lemme think about that and I will surely post it before the week ends.

Happy Monday, everyone!

Did you reach most of your goals for 2010?
Which accomplishment for 2010 are you most proud of?
Are your goals set for 2011?

  5. My goals for 2010 were all over the place, in opposite directions. I wanted to run a sub-20 5k (JHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA) and run a marathon. But there wasn't enough time in my week to train for both. So, I chose marathon. I regret nothing over the last year. I pushed two friends to complete marathons as well. They both credit me for getting them to run. So, that's pretty awesome.

  11. Nice list. I think I completed my goals for 2010, but I didn't keep track. I won't do any for 2011. Then again, I might. I stick to my goals a lot better if they are short term goals, however, just in general, my long term goals are to be injury free and to be healthy all around. Best wishes. BTW another Marathon in Feb? Wow. No rest for the weary.
