I could've lived a long, happy life without seeing that last photo! I know it happens, I just don't want to really "know" it happens.
ReplyDeleteI am seriously hoping the guy in the last picture has mud all over him and not what I think it is. I know it happens though. Ew. That is determination though. LOL
ReplyDeleteUnless someone was holding that guy's family hostage and was going to kill them if he didn't win the race, he should have taken a minute and ducked into a porta-potty. That is the stuff nightmares are made of.
ReplyDeleteThe last one is a bit much; maybe I don't want to be a runner after all.
ReplyDeletenice!
ReplyDeleteThat 3rd Picture. O my word. Now that is wordless. Unless you are going for a world PR, I would have stopped to take care of the ginger bread man. Or in his case, hershey syrups! Take care. Now I am in a great mood all day, cuz I am not in his position.
ReplyDeleteI was with you until the last one but that dude is certainly dedicated.
ReplyDeletejulie - love this post.
ReplyDeletelove the signs.
first one is my fav.
There were people that had that first sign all over my marathon course...it was awesome!
ReplyDeleteI've seen that last pic a bunch of times over the years and it never becomes less shocking!
ReplyDeleteThat last picture always makes me cringe!!!
ReplyDeleteThe picture I had of the two round things were basically like brownie cookies covered in powder sugar. They were so amazing! Probably the best dessert the school cafeteria has ever made thus far.
Hey girlie!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these quotes, I'm a quote freak!! hehe!!
I hope youve been having a great week!
xoxo!
Okay. How do you do that to the FRONT of yourself? Okay. I don't really want to know!
ReplyDeleteLove the 1st 2 pictures! And the last one? Well, let's just say I'm off to puke now...
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteThis was great:) My co-worker sent me the dedication one after one of my half marathons where I had several biffy stops! BTW, I will never be that dedicated:)
Happy Wednesday!
I will die before I 'run' that far! Blech.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was eating as I read this blog post. Not right... just NOT right!
ReplyDeleteRock on!
You made me laugh, thanks for the picture. About the 3rd: during a half marathon I ran (poor me) shoulder to shoulder, for one minute, with a man in similar condition. It was the longest minute of my life at the fastest pace.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Sorry about the last pic. ;p
